Happy 2021 goons. I'm glad you all got through 2020, much love to those of you with friends/family who didn't. I look forward to this government using up all of the country's doses of the Pfizer vaccine while making nobody immune. It will take true Tory innovation to continue making each year worse than the last, but they're up to the challenge. https://twitter.com/Azeem_Majeed/status/1344915726331768832?s=19

Not sure you'll be able to take him, he looks like he has a big old stash of adrenochrome to call on. Happy New Year goons, hope that your 2021 is less loud, bright and moving slightly anticlockwise than mine has been so far.

Our biochem corpus is far in advance of theirs, as is our electronic sentience. And their ethical inflexibility has allowed us to make progress in areas they refuse to consider. So actually I think it is good that we are using the vaccine against manufactuer guidelines.

You'll be pleased to know the daily mail is absolutely livid about the fireworks "Viewers slam BBC and London mayor Sadiq Khan for 'forcing politics' into NYE light display that featured 'woke' NHS tributes, BLM fist salutes and a climate change lecture by David Attenborough - while NO ONE sang Auld Lang Syne" Lmao cry more, daily mail

Surely the drones only look right from like one particular, quite narrow angle? How did everyone know where to stand?

I'm paying hundreds of pounds for some traffic lights for a couple of days in a week or so. They'll come on a truck or whatever and set them up and take them away after but we could have a roving fleet of traffic light drones zipping automatously about the country to take up temporary traffic light roles as and when needed. Even in real time for motorway accidents. Be much cooler.

Its that time of year where we all give new year resolutions a good punt until we abandon them completely in February. Well one of mine is reading more and in case anyone is interested, a publisher has made all the kindle versions of George Orwell's books free at the moment. 1984 - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08RP1D1JQ Animal farm - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08RP14VSJ Burmese Days - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08RP49FV6 A Clergyman’s Daughter - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08RP9KFSL Keep the Aspidistra- https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08RP8SSFK Coming Up for Air - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08RNTY4NJ Homage to Catalonia - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08RP2DJJS The Road to Wigan Pier - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08RPBZNH6 Down and Out in Paris and London - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08RP8DKYP Don't own a kindle? Well you can still read them on the site or download them to the PC kindle app then convert them using Calibre to your EReader of choice.

We just never bothered having it under control. Almost back over 1,000 deaths per day. Imagine if we'd handled it competently at the ports in February.
