The giving pledge is after he dies, not retires. He wants to be able to enjoy that money while he's alive since he went to all the trouble of achieving it illegally and getting sued and prosecuted over it numerous times.

Porn and toxic masculinity have taught this guy that his sexual partner should orgasm within moments of penetration and climax multiple times before he does, and porn rarely shows fingering along with vaginal sex (because it covers up the action), so he's unconsciously associated these things with virility, masculinity, and being good at sex. Just watched Bonnie and Clyde and yeah I know it was 1967 but drat it’s just so centered on the guy’s crippling impotence and her judging him for not being able to do that one specific kind of sex which is apparently all that matters to her AND all that would ever occur to him to try to do for her. I understand that movies are not real life and social mores about what people talk about versus what they actually do are different things but god drat, that this was basically mainstream thinking just a few decades ago.
