Tenants can make donations to said religious organizations which can be used as a tax write off. The stipulation is that 501c3 profits cannot be used for personal use. However, neither the use of a private jet to foreign counties for missionairy work nor employment of your family as "security" qualify as personal use. Religion in America, like gambling, is a regressive tax on the poor.
