The closest I can think of is those sites like Topix that amount to "people yelling about stupid poo poo." Those can produce some good episodes, but I suspect they need very careful curation to really develop a theme and/or get the best possible "morons yelling about Burger King" posts.

the problem with making a SA doc is that while there's plenty of good poo poo throughout the site history the majority of chatter on the site is benign dross, plus the stuff that IS good ranges incredibly broad subjects. from people losing their poo poo on ketamine, low carbs, building a bathroom really badly, or just shaggy dog stories ending in blasting harrison ford with poo poo. there's no general theme to tie it all together other then they all came from this site.

Lou did something like freep if not freep itself several years ago and it was just really one-note “OBAMA IS THE DEVIL” bullshit. It’s challenging to extract material from such sites that doesn’t become repetitive very quickly and I don’t blame anyone for not wanting to pick through it for interesting material.

ExtraCredit did a doc that was a bunch of the ADTRW seasonal anime threads and it was basically them getting angry about anime for an hour for no(?) reason. An SA doc can work but it, like others, needs to be focused. What I'm actually saying is that they need to be forced to read the Crunchyroll forums.

Hi ayahuasca forums, I'm on drugs right now! I relistened to Adjudicated Guess over the last few days. Unfortunate that only six episodes ever came of the thing, because it fit in so great as an F+ side project. The last ep still called for question submissions; maybe they just got busy with other stuff
