Do people really wear uggs just like around? I mean no judgement they're comfy but tbh they're not super water resistant and I like to treat mine as a pair of house shoes. I wouldn't want to wear em outside just because I don't wanna track dirt through my house like a fuckwit

you can get them with soles designed for outside use but I've definitely seen them being worn to the shops up here particularly in the middle of winter when it's cold.

when you wake up at 6am to check the surf at six consecutive beaches (before returning to the first) in your subaru forester you need adequate footwear to go between said forester and the railing at each headland. the ugg provides a mix of traction and warmth like no other.

yes, people do wear them out and about. generally not actual factual legit uggs, but kmart stuff gets thrashed. i have no idea how you could do it once they've been exposed to any level of water.

they're all off to spread super covid to the north.

When the first lockdown happened in Sydney there was a massive pile of people who appeared at their weekenders in the mountains rather than stay in the city while it was happening.

Strong doubt on it only being a 3 day lockdown, don't see how that could achieve anything useful. But that's just reckless. Geared up to WFH again.

And as we saw all across the world, people fleeing the lockdown often take the virus with them and spread it elsewhere

In the before times when I left the house I would always wear em to the shops and post office and things. Not gonna lie going to the bottle shop in uggs and a nighty stoned probs isn't a classy look but I'm always like who am i tryin to impress?

Was super fucken stoked to knock off work today having made it through the first week of 2020 pt 2 without any breakdowns at work for the first time in prolly a solid 12 months. Stay safe everyone and we'll make it through another year and things will hopefully get better.

It has been a few years but there was a 12 month wait for hospital psychiatric but i got it waived or reduced which I was able to do only once ever through AHM they said when i was getting a plan to cover it but honestly aside from 1 hospital visit i don't get poo poo back from them. The private cover stuffs confuses the poo poo out of me and i really need to drop it.

The wait period was reduced to 2 months in 2018. All gold level policies must cover hospital psychiatric now but trying to work out which ones leave you the least out of pocket is a bitch.

I'm from Melbourne, and we're kinda the San Francisco of Australia, in that we have trams and snootily look down upon everyone else for being less progressive and sophisticated. Also it rains a lot. So I occasionally see someone in uggs, but it's rare. And it's normally from someone who's...not exactly homeless, but close to it.

Also, shoutout to Brisbane who got their University of Queensland vaccine trial cancelled. Personally, I'd have taken their vaccine, false positives be damned. I'd take all the vaccines, I don't care. They say 2 shots a month apart is the best, how about 8 shots each a month apart?
