Bat in Spanish is murcielago, so Batman in Spanish is "hombre murcielago" which is a mouthful. Other fun fact: Lamborghini names all their car models after Spanish fighting bulls (Aventador, Diablo, Huracan, etc.) In The Dark Knight, Bruce Wayne drives and crashes a Lamborghini Murcielago. A car named after a bull named after a bat.

In Finnish, Batman is just "Lepakkomies", or Batman. Lepakko, the word for bat, however, is probably an onomatopoetic word which refers to "lepatus", or the leathery flapping of a bat's wings. (A piece of cloth making a sound flapping in the wind is said to "lepattaa", or to flap.) Therefore in Finnish, Batman is "flapping man", the flapping terror in the night!
