tbh i dont know if 2 grand is accurate, i just remember them telling me decades later, and it was an insane amount of money for a used vcr. i wanna say it was definitely more than 500 usd though. maybe my year is off? gotta ask em next time we talk

if you were thinking about watching wandavision i would probably hold off until the entire season is out to see if they do anything interesting with it. they successfully recreated 50s sitcom tropes to the point that its as boring as 50s sitcoms.
