Unless you're good at making kimchi, anyway. I am not, so buying it is the better option. I had a co-worker whose grandma made the best kimchi I've ever had. She gave me a kilo of it and I ate it in one day, couldn't stop. Unbelievable grandma magic.

I think i'll just buy it before I end up with a barrel of ruined cabbage. It sounds a bit like the same trap as making sour dough.

You can probably make a superior kimchi by substituting bland Asian annums with a flavorful new world cultivar. I can imagine certain chocolate chinense resulting in a superior taste.

Via wiki:quote:Starting with version 30, Adobe stopped distributing Flash Player directly to users from mainland China. Instead, they selected 2144.cn as a partner and released a special variant of Flash Player on a specific website,[177] which contains a non-closable process that collects privacy information and pops up advertisement window contents.[178][179][180] The partnership started in about 2017, but in version 30, Adobe disabled the usage of vanilla (global) variant of Flash Player in mainland China,[181] forcing users to use that specific variant, which may pose a risk to its users due to China's Internet censorship.[182] This affects Google Chrome users using Windows 10, Internet Explorer users using Windows 7, and Firefox users using all versions of Windows, as Microsoft still directly distributes Flash Player for Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge through Windows Update in Windows 8 and upward. Imagine setting up your train schedule and pops up advertising like 90's internet. No wonder they pirated to get the international version.

For us the kimchi connection is my sister in law's ajumma network and a local restaurant that sells packages of a lot of their side dishes including an excellent radish kimchi. Costco has good teopokki, though, with the "Rapokki" bags. Throw in some fresh green onions, fish cake, and an egg and you're set.

You don't poo poo where you eat, it isn't amateur hour anymore. This worm smells a lot like intelligence service probing to me. If it did crawl out of a dark corner of the Chinese net, the person/people who made it are deterministically hosed, especially if it manages to cause economic damage to China's tech giants, which it's expected to.
