My friend went at 9am for a 500pm one and my mom's app was at 520pm and we actually got vaccinated at 8pm. So what I'm saying is go late and sacrifice your evening to try and get a lucky dose. The other thing to do is go like 15 minutes before closing to sites like the county Health Department. If there are no-shows or they have extra allotted for whatever reason, they will want to use them up. There are almost always 2-4 doses left at most places.
