Yeah they talked about it last year during Mario's 35th anniversary direct and we're just now getting the items. Mar10 Day maybe? They should have done a Monster Hunter collab instead since Rise launches in March and the Monster Hunter items were way cooler than the Mario items.

I mean, year one of New Horizons has been mainly adding in holidays and seasonal stuff. But all that stuff is in now. If they're going to keep doing monthly or semi-monthly updates then they gotta actually have new stuff in them going forward. I expect things like the Mario items for March are going to be the new normal going forward- something small, fun and random to keep some interest up. But eventually they're going to have to do a big update with Brewster, because gently caress these guys where is Brewster!? It makes some sense to save him at this point. He'd overshadow Pave and Festivale if he was announced now, so I was never expecting him in this update. But if they think we'll be content with just Mario poo poo in March and not any indication of Brewster's return... I just don't know. They'll have to do something to hype up the post-Mario update.

Question: I recently set up a second character on my island just so that I could have Mr Plinkett’s house on my island without having to gently caress up one of the rooms in my house to do so. I’ve got nearly everything together for it, but the secondary character can’t download clothes from Ables kiosk without some weird pop-up asking for profile permissions. How do I sort this out without making a dog’s dinner of my account set-up, or does it make any difference at all?

Vivian just gave Dobie a ninja costume. It actually looks quite good on him, weirdly enough. I have spent far too long today moving flowers, trees and shrubs, and laying paths and fencing. But my museum area is mostly done and looking pretty good, and I... think I have the stores laid out but I'll probably change my mind yet again. If anyone else ever gets the urge to completely redo their island... don't

Museum is DONE (as soon as I get the final fossil piece for the outside display) until the summer when I can get a couple of the big bug models from my favourite lizard. Moving the store today, Able's tomorrow, then over the weekend I can work on furnishing and decorating that area and then there will just be the houses left. I'm going to have a frustrating time trying to move various plants out of the way to mark out where the houses and gardens are going to go, but that's a problem for later. I've got some cliffside spots I can dump most of them temporarily and I've definitely got more than I need so if I lose a few it's not the end of the world. I've got some shooting stars tonight, hopefully Celeste will be around but if not I've got a proper meteor shower in a couple of weeks, right before the change to the next zodiac sign. Sold my turnips for a relatively decent price that paid off my alt's current loan and replaced a bit of the money I've spent recently on moving things and changing out bridges and ramps. Things are looking pretty good. This was still a really stupid thing to do but it seems to have worked out.

It absolutely tanks your HHA score, as lazy villagers can attest.

I had Rasher in the campsite yesterday. He looks kind of terrifying in person, I was not prepared for how intense his eyes are. Lots of decorating ahead of me today, I've got both stores moved into a big paved area by the plaza and I want to set up forecourts for both of them as well as a facilities area by the airport entrance that will lead up to the stores. e; hm, just got the golden axe recipe. I thought that was mailed to you after you broke 100 axes, but I just broke my 100th and my character suddenly thought of putting gold on one. Also got Stonehenge from Gulliver, finally.
