up early with the baby, got her to calm down and sleep for another few hours and Chester was with me the entire time   I knew both he and his sister would be great family cats but they have been so insanely chill around the kid, even when she is screeching like crazy. Funny, given they are some of the most skittish animals most of the time

If we're walking and one of our neighbors is walking their dog and have the baby with them, my Olive will totally ignore the other dog to focus on the baby. If she hears one crying while we're out, we're going in that direction to investigate. If it's a kid old enough to recognize "ooh I like dogs" it's game over for potty time, she will drag me down the street to try and say hi

It rained here in Oakland for the first time in forever and it was seriously so loving nice to just get stoned and listen to the rain and chill with my new puppy (there was actually very little chilling she has endless energy, still really nice).

Yeah thank god it's supposed to rain more this upcoming week. I was kind of looking forward to a "real" storm too since we loving never get any kind of weather here. I really enjoy rain. But yeah it's probably for the best since the state lights on fire if you look at it wrong.
