Yeah, they certainly went the extra mile here. Nene - like Gura - always had the simplest design of her generation (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's noticeable) in both her hair and her clothes, and now there's a lot more detail and personality to it (to say nothing of the vastly improved rigging in her Live 2D).
