After watching two or three seasons of Bojack I just cannot understand the appeal (whatever one he's staying on the boat in the yard). It's not particularly funny and he's not a good character. But I hate most TV so whatever.

I loved Bojack Horseman, but I get why some wouldn't care for it. The bit later on in the series where you get his inner monologue and it's just him calling himself a stupid piece of poo poo over and over and over again is pretty fantastic. That and Russian Doll are the two netflix standouts I can recall.

I'm finding myself really liking going back to this once a week new episode rather than a whole season up at once. Really gives poo poo time to marinate and build hype for the next week.

I'm only halfway through season 1, but so far I really love this show Search Party on HBO Max. It stars Alia Shawkat (Maeby from Arrested Development) who is really great in it. She has a lovely kind of meaningless life where she works as a personal assistant for a rich woman. A college acquaintance she barely knew goes missing and she gets obsessed with trying to solve the disappearance. It's a lot of dark, awkward humor. The episodes are like 23 mins long, so the initial investment is low if you want to check it out.

April 26th, 2020 I was very hungover after drinking on Zoom with my friends the night before and decided to finish the last few episodes of Bojack. I was not ready for the ending to "The View From Halfway Down" to emotionally destroy me in that particular way.

The best part is absolutely Agent Woo, not just because his sincerity is so funny, but he’s also legitimately competent and not just a dumb punchline, it’s great when he shows the brief flashes of it. I definitely liked When he hands Rambueax his card, he does the same hidden card trick flourish that Scott showed him in Ant Man(2?)
