Hey all. I typically don't do this but Youtube ust flagged my most recent video for "promoting conspiracy theories" and for some isn't showing up when searched. The video is about getting out of online cults and conspiracy groups, and feature an extensive interview with a professional deprogrammer on how to reach out and help people in them. It provides advice on talking to family members as well as resources to check out on planning interventions. People like Coffin aren’t really part of the left as much as they’re against liberalism and the status quo and feel like it’s unfair to them personally. There’s no ethic beyond resentment and I wouldn’t be surprised to see any of them embrace the right wing if they think they’d get a warmer welcome there, except that there’s not much money in that any more. Youtube requires a lot of narcissism unless you have something specific to say or some kind of craft, which is not always compatible with sincere politics.

Civvie's twitter makes it pretty clear he's either on the left or hates Trump and the GOP enough that he's at least a liberal (and so are both the head of boomer shooter publisher New Blood and the developer of best FPS of the past decade DUSK). They were making GBS threads on Trump in the lead up and aftermath of the election and would retweet anti-right political memes. I think the DUSK dev even apologized to his followers for tweeting so much about it.
