Joke tweets are real life now. "Here's why a character's rear end is crucial to a video game. /thread"
# ? Feb 5, 2021 23:02 |
I got 2 tweets in and the argument is "its not thirsty gamers and game designers, the rear end is a function of the character being genetically perfect and the pervy angles are a subtle reminder of this key narrative fact" or some such bullshit. It's horny nerds meets viral marketing meets more horny nerds.

'genetic perfection' means nothing because 'perfection' is subjective. what does having 'a perfect body' even mean?
# ? Feb 5, 2021 23:22 |
uhh, welcome to the point?

maybe having a perfect body means that it is able to utilize 100% of it's energy input, meaning no need to excrete waste at all, thus making the butt only vestigial extra weight
# ? Feb 5, 2021 23:25 |
imagine thinking any definition of a perfect body would exclude having an outstanding rear end

If anything I use my rear end for sitting more than making GBS threads so the optimal rear end is one that can sit at a wide range of distances and hold traction on any surface. The ideal rear end is therefore something like a hydraulic jack.

I assume they're in clean rooms and that the idea of a speck of dust getting anywhere near them would send the engineers into conniptions. They use dilution refridgeration which means they're at temperatures measured in the milli-Kelvin.
