I want to like them but their management is so loving bad that it’s really hard to. Their logistics director just loving quit mid war because no one has been listening to him. Like the most qualified dude in your alliance in regards to “do we have the spoons to do X” should be logi directors.

Yeah, fair point. Their management does appear to need an extended session with the CLUE-BY-FOUR. If we did bring them into the fold, we'd probably have to spindle their leadership until they approximated a real alliance. That is a lot of work that we probably wouldn't get much return on.

Their logistics director quitting is pretty typical. Hostiles tend to treat their logistics folks as second-class citizens (or worse.) One of the few things that we do that's actually novel is to, occasionally, treat them as human beings.

This has always blown my mind. Some people enjoy logistics and setting up infrastructure. And all I have to do is pay taxes and be nice to them, and I get to enjoy that infrastructure. Why would you ever poo poo on those people?

I think whoever gets to be the beast of burden for an alliance depends on what people in the alliance like to do. GSF people like setting up structures and bridge networks and whatnot so they prioritize logistics but maybe like two or three FCs that can be trusted in giant important spaceship battles. Other groups like winning the battles more than anything so they have like a dozen FCs and one poor bastard that has to fuel all the structures.

Brave can get hosed and can join CO2 and TEST wherever dead alliances go.

If they leave the war prematurely, TEST will disown them. It's diplomatic suicide, if your goal is to remain friendly to TEST. We all know this is an idiotic goal, but it's the whale that the remora that is Brave has attached itself to. Hilariously enough, we in GSF would probably entertain sheltering them if they wanted to flip, but we tried that before the jump fatigue patch and they told us to get bent.

This reminds me of how _mad_ phorde got at GotG for the crime of not letting themselves get ground under our boots in the name of content.

It's because they are performing tasks other than shooting spaceships. For a large portion of the nullsec (maybe lowsec/WH too? could be talking out of rear end here) playerbase, doing things other than shooting spaceships is wrongthink and those who engage in those tasks are subhuman. It hearkens back to the nomadic PVP lifestyle ideal from 2012; a person is supposed to be self-sufficient and not taint the purity of the alliance's killboard with PVE losses. That legacy (read: not Legacy) has been perverted in various ways over time, but you can still see it in a lot of organizational DNA.

According to Mittens he has more important things to do upstairs that he cant tell pubbies about. Except for this war, he went full on ketamine and jerking of every night.

To the surprise of many, me included, the attackers are holding the line and gaining ground again after a few small i-hub steps backwards, from the event of the above article. Just a few dozen titans trapped left (from >100).

Goons are throwing everything at the hell camp and letting the rest of Delve go. Big dread brawl yesterday that Pandafam won by miles in M-2.

e: titan prices spiked by 20-30%, if we lose another fight like m-2 we are in deep poo poo. Simply because building titans is very very hard now and the stocks in eve are all but depleted. CCP will be happy, now to lose a few thousand supercarriers.

As the designated drunkplomancer of Fweddit when that was relatively grounded in FW, BRAVE had asked us why we hadn't aligned with TEST at the time.

And I told them, and warned them about the future implications of what happens *after* aligning with TEST. That was several iterations of their leadership previous to their existence now, but nontheless. TEST has always made for a lovely ally.

In 2016, just as we were starting to get invaded properly by casino nerds, CCP changed their policy regarding one time moving of ships for returning players to not allow anything to be moved with a jump drive. It was very convenient timing.

back in the early Deklein era, we had a jabber bot that read the wallet API for bounties paid for hauler spawns. since virtually nobody ever bothered looting them (especially since this was back in the times where ratting bots were de facto allowed) it was basically just free minerals.
