Funny thing I didn't notice until the recap of last episode was when the Hex engulfing Darcy she's shouting "Fuuuuuuuuuuu"...which turns into "uuuuuudge" as she passes into 90's PG-13 sit com world.

are most people liking Monica more than I am? Teyonah Parris is doing what she can with the material, but she doesn’t have much in the way of discernible character traits beyond “is sad about her dead mom” and “wants to help Wanda”

So in the fake commercial in Episode 7 what's up with Nexus' fake chemical name Nexulpromocide? I'm not fluent in Latin, but I know that -cide means "the act of killing" and that seems a little weird to have to have on the end of even a fake antidepressant. Also it being 10.3% seems oddly specific. I'm feeling this is some sort of reference that I'm not getting.

Desperado Bones posted:The premise of Dr. Strange 2, according to Wikipedia: Pretty sure that means Mordo. I don't think Agatha is controlled by someone else, she is working for someone else consensually. That she brought Wanda here, and her manipulation has been to get her to use her powers more and more so they can be drained into the darkhold/necronomicon/art of the deal or whatever evil book she has in the basement and bring her master into this world or whaver evil plan she has. Wanda is probably too powerful for Agatha to directly control, or at least at first. Wanda is directly connected to the Nexus, her power is raw and intuitive, but she doesn't have the skill of Agatha, who has centuries of practice. So there is a point where Wanda's power is drained enough that skill can overcome power.

And now, I just watched the world's most advanced android, powered by one of the fragments of universal creation itself (maybe?), likely one of the most powerful and intelligent beings in existence, come up with an escape plan that involved pointing at a mime and shouting "Oh, no. Look, that mime… His tray is getting too heavy!" and then stealing a funnel-cake truck while everyone was distracted. (Note: This plan worked) After 7 episodes of this show, he's suddenly one of my favorite characters in the MCU. That's wonderful news, her life is saved! How did you manage it?" Steve: "The, um, rabbit did it. He built a thingy and, um, I didn't really ask how it worked." Guards: Steve: "And now I'm here to put it back in her. I've got another thingy here, and I just need to poke her with it. I think. That's what the rabbit told me." I think they didn't use Vision much in the movies is due to him being insanely overpowered for the universe and would have outshone most of everyone else that wasn't powered by an infinity stone.

Im just happy they are giving scarlet witch and Vision more screen time. I rewatched the MCU after the first couple episodes of WV and they really had maybe 4 scenes together after Ultron. Lagos kept her cooped up after Civil War and it was implied but not shown that their relationship bloom. The next time you see them is in Glasgow at infinity war. There was no in between and it always felt forced to me.

I just caught up with the thread, so here are some of my thoughts: I can't believe how nobody has mentioned Kat Dennings some how made a full body velvet circus costume more revealing than a swimsuit. I am going to toss out another possible villain behind the villain: The Enchantress, who is a classic Thor villain. Magic, mind control and illusion are her whole thing and, as some pointed out, the Evil Basement has Asgardian symbols. Assuming that Evan Peters is playing Fox-verse Quicksilver, nobody has asked the most important question about that character: what cool pop song is going to play during the super-speed scene when he saves the town?.
