Going back to flying, as I understand it, because of the way it's laid out and the overall topography, there is essentially no such thing as a smooth landing at SFO. I had to start popping benzos about an hour before scheduled landing there every time I flew out there. Weirdly, I had some nightmarish arrivals in Tucson, as well (and one departure from Tucson in a sandstorm). There was also the day I moved to Baltimore, which happened to be the day Sandy hit. I landed a few hours before everything in and out of BWI was grounded. That wasn't scary at all...

I honestly can't remember having a very rough landing at SFO. Kind of a freaky airport what with its double barrel runways, and the fog will mess your etd up badly. Much better than it was before good tracking systems, mind you. I hear Denver is the bad one, apparently the area is prone to downdrafts. No thanks! My cousin, who is exactly a year and a day older than me and since I'm an only child the closest thing I've ever had to a brother, has apparently had a mental break down and is currently missing. I live in Seattle, he lives in Portland and the only thing going through my head is I should drive down there but there isn't actually anything I could do to help find him. I have some weird text messages from him from a month ago I ignored them because they were weird and I didn't see them until hours after he sent them.
