At the NHL outdoor game today, the anthem was sung by Aurora C. Gooch. Then, while introducing some healthcare people at the game, one was named Dusty Gooch. I have no idea if they’re related, I was too busy laughing.

I was reading about Mississippi history for research and came across a plantation owner named Haller Nutt. One of his eleven children was Fanny Nutt, and his dad was named Rush Nutt. Even by 18th and 19th-century plantation owner standards, surely RUSH NUTT was still a ridiculous name?

It's just a variation of Athalie (French version of Atalya, which is Hebrew and thousands of years old.)
