Swedish and Norwegian spelling are pretty clear to understand, it's just that English spelling is an abomination that manages to be even worse than French spelling, "lol we've always done it this way, why change" is how you eventually end up with child marriage, human sacrifice and Mitch McConnell

Latin script is a pretty sweet deal for Romance languages I guess (and Finnish, weirdly), but even then French manages to gently caress it up to a spectacular degree.
