No joke, I've loved Chrono Trigger for decades, I felt no game would ever come close, sure I really like games but nothing close to Chrono Trigger... Until Persona 4, I guess it was the time in my life but it was just the perfect combat and soundtrack I'd been looking for. I love them both on different levels but it made me so incredibly happy to find another game that made me feel like Chrono Trigger did.

True story, a while back, I was just going through youtube recommendations for music. It had been a few years since I last played Persona 4, I'd spent more time with 3 and other games, and then Your Affection came up, and the nostalgia hit me like a loving train. I'd completely forgotten how much that game meant to me in high school, how it came into my life when I needed it most. I got reminded of it all at once, the sanctuary I had in the absolute shittiest part of my life. First and only time a Persona song not named 'Memories of You' made me cry.

I always wonder what the persona gang is up to now that they are anime old for instance I believe that rascal akihiko currently suffers from CTE onset by being punched in the head too much

So does the third semester just ...start? I beat the final boss, went through a bunch of cutscenes, then suddenly had a weird dream where I am in the school and later on I wake up with Morgana next to me but Morgana is human. Just curious If I am past where the base game ends and the extra Royal content begins.

Well, by anime standards. They're probably more like my age. But still, 30-something is a huge jump from high school. Eikichi has probably stopped dressing up like he used to. Lis and Tatsuya are happily married, of course.

Yeah, the triple threat of Snowflakes, Reach out to the Truth, and Heaven makes P4G one of my favorite games for soundtracks alone. I feel like of all the Persona casts I have the clearest idea of where the P5 kids will be one day. If Joker showed up in a future game as a grownup running Leblanc with some vague mention that he's married (but never confirming to who) I feel like everyone would be on board with that future for him. Persona 3 also suffers from having waaaaay too much dead time with nothing going on except going to bed because tartarus doesn't take that long to climb and you already maxed out every persona at the arcade.  Maybe that's why 4 and 5 have so much of that enforced.

Maybe he just feels like even more of a blank slate than Joker, but even anime/spinoff Yu Narukami, I don't really know what I imagine he does as a grownup.
