Should replace that "but" with a "so" Thoguh posted:The gaslighting going on about this bill is hilariously blatant. It's so over the top I wonder if people will accept this as the savior of the country of if it will lead to some sort of confusion when it doesn't fix much. I kinda want to start saying that it's good Biden did what Obama was sadly too ineffectual to do with a larger Senate majority to see if any wires get crossed though.

It's pretty funny that Manchin goes on the news shows and brags about how there are "republican ideas" in the bill when not 1 of them had to vote for it to get their ideas in it. I'm not sure who the audience for that is or is Manchin's brain just rotten.

so im guessing the dems will herald this tiny bandaid of a bill as a amazing win, and do nothing when the can comes kicking back again in a few months when the paltry ui runs out. looking forward to the millions of pending evictions some of which are happening in chud states anyway. and people having to pay back a year of rent back. its pretty neat that they did nothing for 3 months except whittle down the bill to being poo poo and using the excuse of working across the aisle all for every republican to vote no.

I don't believe this btw. Biden didn't lift a finger for the 15 dollar wage, that is why it's out of the bill. I still don't believe that Manchin or any of the other 8 scumfucks who voted against the stand alone bill would have killed the whole bill just to vote against the 15 dollar wage.
