Buy the £20 Wahl clippers with guards from Argos, trim away. You can get fancy with short back and sides if you have a pair of mirrors, but otherwise you can just put the max length guard on and run it all over.

Deactivate your facebook account like Ratty. No more feed or profile to endlessly scroll on. But you can still use messenger. The £10 Wahl clippers from Amazon are fine. I have 3 of them, 1 for home, 1 for work, 1 for my other temp flat (which I moved out of when I no longer needed to be in London half the time).

A lot of larp stuff is conducted over Facebook, the format is really good for actual social groups where people meet up, so I'm mostly on it for that. I used to trawl UK Simpsons when it was fun Simpsons memes, then after the 2019 election it turned into a full-on warzone between the Corbynites and the centrist massive, but fought through badly photoshopped Simpsons memes, so I noped out and never looked back.
