Starfield will make or break the deal. They've been hinting at giving them extra funding for it, so let's see if it pays off. I don't think I've ever"wanted" a Bethesda game, besides ogPrey2, but I'm interested to see what they do with space.

Bethesda are probably the best third party single player games publishers in the business. Doom, Wolfenstein, Prey, Evil Within, TES, Dishonored, Rage, Fallout. Like they’ve got such a good catalogue.

I liked Rage 2 more than most. It's completely mindless and simple but the shooting is fun and there are some neat weapons to play around with. I got all the achievements for the game twice and will probably do it again on PlayStation 4 at some point. Its very relaxing and a great podcast game.

Rage2 looks like an opening world bullet storm, but I've never been able to get into gun arcade games with a controller, just feels limiting to what the games asking.

This headphone audio popping thing is maddening trying to pin down the cause/solution. Last night I tried plugging my headphones into all three controllers linked to my series x (2 series x gen controllers and the elite v2) and had terrible popping and distorted audio on each one. I gave up and just played with the tv super quiet and turned on subtitles. This morning I decide to try narrowing things down a bit more, so my plan was to plug in the headphones to one of my ps4 controllers and see if it might actually be headphone specific in my case. I did that, and no popping or distortion was present. So my plan for the next step was to plug in to one of the Xbox controllers, confirm I was still getting the issues, and then see what happened if I plugged them in to the elite with a usb connection. But I plugged them in and got perfect audio clarity, no popping or distortion. And that's good, but I really would like to figure out how I can make that happen every time I want to use them!

I know right now it's Deathloop (which is basically Dishonored with a Bioshock aesthetic) which looks excellent and I'm looking forward to playing, but I hope Arkane gets to revisit and continue the Dishonored franchise somehow as well because it's such an incredible IP. If those rumors of a new Killer Instinct game are true they can add the Doom slayer to the roster as well and he would be such a good fit  Should add him as a character for Gears of War as well, they've already added Halo Reach characters and other guests but Doom slayer is ideal for that.

Amongst mine I have a perfect no popping pair (b&w p7), a pair that give no sound at all (Bose q3), and a variety of earphones from over the years that all have varying amounts of unbearable popping. I did notice I get more popping when batteries were power too.

I only have the one pair of headphones to try (Sennheiser HD 280 Pros) and  no idea why they work flawlessly sometimes and shittily at others. The cord and plug are in great shape with no visible wear, I've taken great care of them. And this morning they worked perfectly. I had heard the battery thing but pretty sure that wasn't the issue this time because the controller I used this morning was one of the 3 I used last night and I didn't charge it overnight or anything.
