An artist friend I haven't really spoken much too since college IM'ed me the other day to ask if I worked in crypto because he wanted to know more about NFTs. I admitted I didn't know much about them and reserved my opinions that I think they're a scam along with everything else in the crypto space, but otoh he's an artist so if he's seeing poo poo on the news about idiots paying 5 figgies to own a jpg or whatever then hell yeah dude get in on that gold rush.
