Out of the videos of his I’ve seen I tend to agree with his points more often than not, but I hate the smug, sarcastic way he delivers them. It usually feels like he’s just padding out a simple message that could be presented in half the time if he wanted to.

Yeah, I don't know if either of the few Thought Slime videos I've watched were anything groundbreaking but they're not bad little rants. I think the last one about the culture war worked. A slightly cathartic 10 minutes over how dumb it all is followed by light despair over the fact that you either ignore the "culture war" and let them control the narrative and rack up points or engage and let them distract from actually important poo poo.

thoughtslimes got a few bangers at at least from my pov no bad ones. his trilogy on jobs he's worked is a good reminder that bosses need to be destroyed his batman video is the best possible answer to "isn't batman a fascist", which is bullshit, and essentially tells people that the left are all terrible killjoys here to take away your comic book his superman video is great but that might just be because anyone can sound great when they talk about stuff that happened in All Star Superman his she-ra video is one of the best things on YouTube but I might be biased because it was really the straw that broke the camels back for me finally just admitting (to myself and others!) that hey I'm nonbinary. it's a good examination on how dipshits fabricate the culture war to push their ideological desires but that's not news to anyone in this thread. there's good videos that aren't about cartoons and comic books but those last three are the ones I'm most willing to rewatch. (also when someone called him out for a lovely thing he did he apologized and then made a video that basically said "gently caress you everyone calling this cancel culture, they were right", which is p good)

I've only watched one video from ThoughtSlime and it was his recent "sub celebration" one on imposter syndrome. It was really freaking good. Very relatable for a lot of us YouTubers and folks who generally talk poo poo on the Internet, to be honest (so y'know, probably biased towards that subject). So yeah I'm not sure I understand where a lot of this vitriol's coming at really. Like, he seems perfectly ok when it comes to the whole field and THE DISCOURSE.
