When I was growing up my family was not very aggressive regarding family events. We pretty much only ever see our extended family at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Two of my cousins were both born right around Thanksgiving so they would always have a bunch of presents from their family on Thanksgiving as well as receive a bunch of gifts from the rest of the family. The feeling of being a Bengals fan early in free agency always reminds me of sitting around at Thanksgiving bored out of my mind while those two assholes Dan and Charlie would be playing with all their rad new toys.
