Bud is an elite run stopper, not a liability when he has to drop into zone, and is an above average pass rusher. He's a really good all-around player, he's just not, like a Vonn Miller in his prime

Don't pay much attention to his sack numbers imo, Lawson is very good when he is fully healthy and has actually gotten better at playing the run and being more of a three down DE over the past year. That is a big contract for him but I wouldn't have been upset if Cincy re-signed him at those numbers.
