If people are here for that, then the occasional reminder to be critical can be valuable.

There were about 100k border apprehensions in February, according to CBP. Thry focus on the fact that it is 2.5x times higher than last February. Perhaps there was something going on last february which caused that number to be artificially low. Perhaps there was an x factor that is now subsiding, causing a reversion to the mean. For context, there were 144k apprehensions in May of 2019. (As an idiot who knows nothing about farming, the numbers seem to me like they ebb and flow according to traditional harvest seasons.) Its still just a major crackping moment for me.
