Good to remember the little victories.

I'm trying to remember which of the LeftyBrit podcasts it was where they did a bit on how the Lawn Bowls Association took credit for Swinson losing her seat because she apparently wronged them somehow and her margin of loss in 2019 was smaller than the membership of the local association.

All I'm saying is, when it comes to the Scottish, you do NOT gently caress with lawn bowlers.

Let your sadness be quelled- I’m making another batch of it tomorrow for my Easter collection :)

There will also be fudge-eggs. Keep an eye on the website on this coming Wednesday for the next stock release :)

Had AZ vaccine on Monday. Tuesday was just tired and felt a bit flakey and fuzzy headed and went back to bed a few times. Also had a slightly odd intermittent pain under my right back ribcage which more or less cleared by Wednesday (my injection was in my right arm because I have to sleep on my left arm so possibly muscle-related - they were going to do it in my left arm as I'm right handed but I asked them not to as some folk I know have had bad arm pain and swollen arm - but I didn't. Just a bit of discomfort.). Wednesday had a bit of nausea and dizziness. Today, absolutely raging thirst (I've drunk over 2l of semi-skimmed milk and several glasses of water) and nasty headache.
Hoping to be ok tomorrow!
Most people I know who have had the AZ have been underpar for 3-5 days but nothing serious. Apparently it's the 2nd jab that gets you!
Also I've taken aspirin every day since reading about the blood clots, just in case.

Also, pulse up in the 90s since Monday. It's been mostly in the mid-high 70s for the past few weeks. (I have a pulse oximeter).

I developed fever chills last night and slept under several blankets, then around 3-4 in the morning I was burning up instead. Now I am feeling just sorta drained all over. Injection site is sore as well. I sure hope the 2nd jab isn't worse...

EDIT: Oh yeah 38 degrees C, not going to work today... Damnit I have a lot to do.

Mini is doing public services next btw, it’s worth 90 uni points to basically do Duke of Edinburgh for 2 years, with an option of two Derby uni years after. seems a waste of 4-6 a levels + uni points to go to derby. and as a live at home student will she get the socialisation you crave?

Sorry to hear that. Got my first AZ yesterday afternoon. Mild soreness around the injection site is all I have so far. People generally seem to talk about being sore on one of the 2 shots in the Coronavirus thread where lots have had both.

You're even more likely to kill yourself if the ejection port is flinging hot brass directly into your face (this famously being the reason the British army now gets Germans to design their small arms)
