even I'll admit that Baltimore is not the place to go if you're a WR looking for a one-year deal to impress future suitors

Kenny Golladay exists in a state of both is a Bengal and isn't a Bengal until he signs a contract and collapses the waveform. It must be said though that the version of Kenny Golladay that is a Bengal is happier, more fulfiled and appreciated.

And it would lose them one of their comp picks. And they don't really have the cap space without some major work.

Sounds awesome, I just can't see it.

Agreed it's not happening. I just want to see what the offense could look like with one of these guys.

Hard to say, in addition to lingering shoulder issues the Bengals didn't really play him in position very much. He's a plus run defender as well I would absolutely take a flyer on him.

Atkins is probably my favorite Bengal of all time, but even speaking objectively it would be smart for any team that doesn't have an established starter to get him on a one-year deal.

What he's currently dealing with is also only the second injury to ever cause him to miss time. Honestly I wouldn't consider him a high-risk signing. Worst case scenario no one's pushing him off the line of scrimmage.

Edit: maybe fake news, it hasn't been verified as far as I can tell.

i don't think geno is the same case as dunlap where the dumb rear end piece of poo poo coordinator is why he looked bad but having him get out of cincinnati is a good enough reason to sign him and see. he should go on the rams

Fun Shoe
Geno on a couple million as a specialist would be a pretty fine gamble if he still wants to play. He was hurt last year and the new defensive staff apparently went out of their way to alienate every vet player for some reason, so he could have another year or two left in him.

That said he is no longer worth whatever his giant base salary for this year was and cutting him probably needed no second thought if they are going to spend the money.

How have you managed that? Other than the fact that they both are traditionally pretty really good pass rushers there's literally nothing they have in common.

Like someone mixing up Terrell Suggs and Ray Lewis.

Atkins is a single position player. If you're not lining him up at the three you're wasting him.

He does strike me as a ring chaser though. His first contract was actually kind of team friendly when you consider the level of talent he was, I don't think he's super money oriented.

It's really hard to say though because he's said like four words on the record since 2011.

He was a 2nd round pick of the Dolphins in 2017, so this is pure grade AFC East incest.

He also had one of the lowest PFF grades I've seen for last year with the Raiders. So that's cool, literally everyone regresses hardcore when they play defense for Gruden though, so that's the optimistic look there.

The thinking is that the strength of WR in the draft plus the league’s cap situation has resulted in a depressed market for guys like JuJu.
