I'm just gonna come right out and say it: I think Easterby sidling up to Texans ownership using ill-gotten gains is shameful; and furthermore, if DeShaun Watson sexually harassed or assaulted any or all of those women, he definitely should not have and should be punished appropriately. Thank you.

The Vick and Watson comparison is interesting but other than that they're both high-profile Black QBs, I think the cases were pretty different. Dogfighting is coded as a black and southern thing, so it played right into racial and regional stereotypes that are common all over the US. On the other hand, sexually harassing and assaulting women from Instagram is a lovely behavior that is common to powerful people across race categories and geography.
