Watching Cheers and I read that they cast Pierce as Niles because of how much he looked like young Kelsey Grammer and holy poo poo. Its dead on and I'm pretty sure David Hyde Pierce prepared for the role by just binge-watching Cheers over and over again because a lot of what I think of Niles-isms like his voice cracking when he gets excited are things Season 4 Frasier does all the time.

Recently rewatched some Frasier episodes and the one with the "Nightmare Inn" radio play is still one of my favorites. I always enjoy episodes of shows where the characters do a movie/play/etc. of their own and fail spectacularly at it, and "Nightmare Inn" is no exception. And Roz is still my waifu
