I like Xenoblade X overall but it’s loaded down with way more extraneous bullshit and worse characters than either of the other two. I hope it gets a sequel with the time wasting bullshit toned down. I also hope it contains some Welsh catgirls, obviously the biggest oversight.

my metric is how embarassed I'd be if a someone walked in on me while playing a game, and XB2 is high on that scale also Torna has way better systems and I'm sad it's so short compared to the main game

Torna is also significantly less horny than XC2 which is another point in its favor. Xenoblade Chronicles is very down to earth compared to the others, not very horny and is relatively straightforward. It did a lot of stuff that other JRPG’s of the time didn’t, like saving anywhere and being able to quick jump whenever you want. XCX doesn’t even feel like a finished game. It has great maps except then Skells pretty much make walking obsolete and there are big sections of the map that no longer have any function because of that. Other than that, the battle system is very similar to the first game but with a bunch of weird elemental attributes thrown in. XC2 is creepy and weird and horny but the battle system is very good, better than the original in a lot of ways but balanced by the godawful Blade gatcha. Torna does some very cool and interesting stuff with the battle system and is actually really good. All of the games are good just to varying degrees and for different reasons. Xenoblade X is charming in the sense that Tetsuya Takahashi finally got a relatively all around complete game made with Chronicles then immediately took that clout and tried to make a THIRD ultra anime scifi epic intended-to-be-told-across-multiple-games saga in space. Like yeah Chronicles is super charming and not too bogged down with proper noun games and lore but DUDE WHAT ABOUT GIANT ANIME ROBOTS AND PSEUDO RELIGOUS MONOLOGUES AREN'T THEY RAD?

Xenoblade 2 was pretty fun to play but it bothered me a fair amount that they basically make no effort to justify the nature of the world structure, both geographically and in terms of the entities that exist like the blades and titans and whatever else. I feel like it stands out compared to a lot of fantastical game worlds that don't feel like they need to justify themselves mainly because that was kind of a pretty major point and cool climax/twist of 1; They explicitly explain why stuff is the way it is going into the home stretch in a way that you don't see coming but it works surprisingly well. 2 just consistently feels like it fell face forward over that line of silliness that 1 successfully managed to toe. You spend the whole game asking "why is any of this."

So it takes 345 stars to unlock the last music track in Hatsune Miku picross. There are exactly 345 regular puzzles, so if you were to beat all of them even using hints and getting stuff wrong, you'd still have enough stars to unlock all the music even without doing a single one of the composite picture puzzles (which there's five of I think, each one having 25 puzzles).
