It was on offerup for $1500 a few weeks ago, my buddy loves those and it's in pretty good shape overall. We tried to buy it but it got sold before we could. But the previous ad said it burned a lot of oil. Looks like this guy hosed around and found out.

It was probably a minor mistake for me to drop in and quote MY INEVITABLE DEBT's post after seeing the report and having a read. I do not want to say in any way that if you shouldn't take a issue out of a thread and go to PM's and for that I apologise. But please note PM harrassment is taken seriously. However the sentiment of the post stands and all the mods have to say further will be in the Lepers Colony. Have a good evening and please, try the fish Edit : Or I dunno, find the absolute worst Subaru Criaglisting and I'll give someone a title/gangtag of their choice Edit2 : Yeah I'll do that. Absolute worst Subaru Craiglisting wins you a new title of your choice. Do your worst. And if I'm sufficently revolted by multiple posters, then more titles to go around by say... April 1? Ranzear posted:https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/pts/d/wilkeson-1998-subaru-forester-no-title/7296275656.html the '1234' thing is because facebook won't let them put what they are actually asking as the price, because facebook as decided it knows best. This explains every single facebook marketplace post where the price is 1234 or something similar, yet in the add they say the actual price. On craigslist its because people are shitheads, on facebook it's because faceobok is the shithead.

GallienKruger posted:Not only that, but personality and narrative make a huge impact as well. I sold an old Dodge pickup a couple years ago. First guy came to look because he needed something to pull a trailer for his tree-trimming business. He offered $200 under my asking and I passed. Next guy was a high school kid who’d been saving money from his PetCo job. He would message me every week going “is it still there? I’m still talking my parents into it!” He was positively exuberant when he came to look at it. He offered me $400 under and I went “you bet!” and then went and boxed up some old parts I had to go with. I liked the dude that bought my Alfa Romeo MiTo so much that I gave him an additional $200 or something off the price that he haggled down.

Other posters have explained it, but I'll add that the weird pricing algorithm has led sellers down the path of thinking all the nice Novas are listed at $1,234, and their 78 Nova with a beer keg hood scoop and galvanized pipe roll cage is also nice, so they will also list for $1,234. On Facebook, if searching for "invested" isn't panning out for you, try $1,234. While searching for a new project, I've been setting my min price at $1,235 to weed out some of the cars that are too good or too bad for me to buy. In my region, Craigslist is almost entirely moderately priced old cars and practical late model cars that have all the charisma of a well built refrigerator. Facebook search is horrendous, but it's where all the fun junk is. Facebook is the future of poor craftsmanship and lost potential.

1977 International Scout, V8 Standard trans, 4x4. Project ! $2,400.00 Good starting point on a resto project. These are getting harder to find these days. You will need to Trailer or tow it. It was running a few years back, But it will take a little more fiddling than a battery and fresh fuel I assume.
