I only really enjoyed it for the atmosphere/feel of VR and it got too much hassle to be worth the setup, then Star Wars: Squadrons came along and utterly scratched the VR space dogfight dream I'd had since I 1st tried VR. It's like people are just out to grift with such low effort. If you've learned nothing, you should know that when you go into a Kickstarter you've got to have good graphics. You don't need anything else really. Just some really nice art. Maybe some outlandish promises about what you can do with that art too. Clearly they need to learn from the masters.

The question is why didn't those same Silicon Valley types handle the initial marketing push? Why showcase a mishmash of store bought assets with seemingly some store bought plugins (trails in the snow)? No meaningful gameplay, just a hint of what the player would be able to do. Ship and the airship look too good to have been done with their building tool and I won't even mention the city with the fireworks and horrible fps.

Good news! Subverse (playing the role of Elite: Dangerous effectively) is about to be released I think. This means the official feud with Love Pledge (as the role of Star Citizen), can begin. So I hope this means Love Pledge will be moving to 1.0 at this point with an official competitive update to let Subverse know they are still winning the race. Don't squander this moment!
