There's 200 million starlings in NA and they can eat anything. I literally can't conceive of a way to take them out that won't also torpedo every other species in North America.

Those starlings didn't ask to be here, either. It's a big problem but killing millions of birds seems like a lovely solution.

I’m pretty sure owls are smarter than we think they are. Maybe not a lot, but I feel like a lot of our tests for measuring animal intelligence are pretty flawed.

Yeah there's not much to learn, you just need to have a lot of patience and stillness as you wait for the birds to very slowly test the waters and learn that you are not a threat.

Beautiful, huge, dumb as gently caress. The vultures, on the other hand, would constantly figure out how to unlock their mews and the raven he had was the only bird I've ever met that judged me.
