The first thing the team did under the Jeter group (he's the face of the group but far from the principal owner) was trade away the best outfield in the majors. Two of them have won MVP in their careers

e: Although, interestingly, at one point Yu Darvish insinuated someone was relaying signs to Christian Yelich from first base and since the league cracked down hard on sign stealing Yelich has been Real Bad but no one talks about it

Running the Dinger Machine out in the outfield costs a lot in electricity you can’t hit too many home runs.

Bad, very bad!
Started playing AC: Vikings again and I think my main complaint is that this should be very good but the game gets in its way constantly.

Every few minutes I'm feeling like "oh I got your puzzle, game. Cool that was mindless fun, let me grab that reward." And then cursing at Eivor for refusing to move as they should or getting caught up on some piece of scenery.

e: I want to track down whoever thought that little beepbeepbeep sound was a good idea and leave a bunch of legos on the floor by their bed while they're asleep.

They've won multiple world series this generation they can eat my whole rear end

60 game Covid season is fake and doesn’t count. Also didn’t they play more 7 inning double headers than anyone else because they started the season as a plague ship that couldn’t play for 2 weeks?

Kind of a weird hobby to just jump into I guess, but I'm enjoying it. And in stupid sentimental fashion, my dad did it back in the 70s for a bit and actually wore the belt and wallet he made back then right up til the day he died in 98. I actually found his scratch awl in a box of random poo poo so I've been using it.

Like I said, I'm still poo poo but it's getting better each time. By end of year I'd like to make a bag and probably a clutch for my wife as well.

Ah, one more!

Yeah the Marlins have won more WS titles than the Braves in the last thirty years (or 26, in their case) in spite of an abysmal win percentage during that period.

They have no interest, as an organization, in maintaining any long term success. They draft and develop and immediately ship their stars out of town.

What a depressing franchise.

Also, General Dog said it really well.

My gf told me a story about how her and a friend were traveling (NY I think) in college and took pictures next to a sleeping homeless guy (could have also been just a guy napping) on a bench in the park. They told another friend of hers about it and the friend got pissed about it, made a fake newspaper article about how the cops found a dead body in the park and were looking for suspects seen near the body before it was found, two girls etc etc. GF bit hard on it and spent like the next week worried she was going to jail before the friend told her what was up.

To this day she feels horrible about it and is the person that keeps money/change in her car to give to homeless at stop lights - donates and works at food banks etc.

When she told me the story I was dying laughing and her insistence on how it was NOT funny and that it's a serious thing only made me laugh harder. She's a great girl and I love that she donates her time and money to causes like that but the way she got there is just amazing.

They were two dumb college kids. No idea why adult Tyrese would think this is okay.

Curious to know how it goes. My first shot I didn't feel any residual anything except a little shoulder soreness for a couple hours after. Otherwise fine. I'm worried the second shot is going to knock me on my rear end

I don't know, I generally don't get sick. Maybe once a year or something for me if that and after my first shot on a friday, I had sore arm for a couple days and then felt mildly sick for 3-4 days after that. Kinda worried about how bad its going to be for my 2nd shot this friday but at least I got the weekend to lay up if it really is going to be bad.

I felt like death warmed over two hours later and then was perfectly fine the next day, I know my mom didn't have any reaction at all. I called to check in on how it was going and had to remind her why I was calling when she wanted to talk about something else.

So your odds are decent for tomorrow at least from my anecdotal experience.
