what's interesting about the natalia samoilova video to me is that it feels like it's expressing an ease and confidence. there's a ratty old soviet-era helicopter in the background but the troops have new gear and are training as professional operator types it's restrained but towards the end you see a shot of the russian flag on a commando's sleeve, and then they casually rack their weapons, and natalia knowingly looks at the camera like

I watched all the videos on this page, and watched the paratrooper video again. I still like the paratrooper video the best. It feels like an amateur music video ordered by the division commander, sang by a Russian R. Lee Ermey drill sergeant type, and clearly shot by a consumer grade camera. It has no an ounce of irony that's why I like it. The song is also the catchiest.

A person who takes it seriously is a very stupid person. They're all the caricature to him, so no one who disagrees with him can ever actually be right about anything, so they can dismiss them out of hand.
