I think what always throws me about posts like Rectal Death Deft's is I haven't said anything at all that is in disagreement. I don't like the Democratic party, I don't think electoralism is enough, I'm extremely pessimistic that any of this will work. But what options do regular people have to get power and affect change? I can think of a few, and a lot of those literally cannot be posted or I'll be banned.

I met lots of nice people, learned a lot of valuable skills, and helped train a lot of young people for their futures. I talked to countless people about why we need a left wing. I questioned a lot of aspects about Scarane but Delaware seems like an awful place with some unique aspects that made it even harder. I’d have preferred someone who was a member of a socialist party but it sounds like there wasn’t much in the way of that there. I trust that Nichael did his best, no need to be so rude.

There is no way to win with a third party with even small districts here in the current political moment. It'd take tons of work, and no one is doing it. It's not pointless to go for it, but the country is on a real time limit in regards to the various crises we're facing. I don't know that there's even time to do a third party now.
