There should be football questions in every game.

Whatever you think of Buzzy as a contestant I feel like he'll be a great guest host.

I don't remember any of these champs but I'm sure they're all awesome!

I was going to be Team Brayden :smith:

Now, I'm Team Mackenzie as well!

I bet Buzzy will do an excellent job as host. I don't particularly care one way or another about him as a contestant but I'd be surprised if he wasn't great at hosting.

Guys, find a woman who looks at you the way GhostStalker looks at every bald, obese, single 58 year old accountant from Tulsa who managed to win $4,000 by not wagering on a Final Jeopardy triple stumper.

I remember some of these champs, most prominently Jason Zuffranieri for whatever reason, but yeah, no Braden is a bummer. Buzzy makes good sense to host this, he’s got experience with the ToC and other recent tournaments and is local to the LA area as well.

I think Jason won 14 games.

He was one of those "quiet but solid" kind of players. Didn't have the big personality or the big wagers but quietly racked up cash after cash in his games.

I assume it’s a fun way to describe their role suddenly being their child’s teacher during Covid lockdown.

I immediately thought of God from Key and Peele's east west bowl.

Very excited for ToC. I'll be cheering for Jason as one of the many bodies in his wake, as well as MacKenzie because i'm a human who enjoys entertaining jeopardy. Also the teachers and college winners because i love when they make a run. And also Sam (mustache).

No sarcasm at all, "everybody thinks my name is Ashley" is like a top 10 contestant story for me. Just the sheer number of Ashley incidents she must have experienced for that to even register

I still stand by my commitment to wagering everything if the category is Physics....but goddamn even that was an easy physics clue by this show's standards in that category.

She really didn't have a chance, but she totally blew it on the second daily double with that wager.

i wonder how often players choose to make DD wagers late in DJ that *literally* prevent them from winning the game because they're too small. I figure it's pretty rare but man is it tough to watch when it happens, especially when the player doesn't seem like they're a jerk or anything

It's interesting to see how few multi-day champs there are with the guest hosts and I think it comes down to people not being able to practice their timing/buzzer skills at all beforehand.
