The parking space reminded me of people who bought inner city parking spaces for cheap in like the 70s, and now own that space forever and rent it out for ridiculous amounts (like approaching a livable "wage" per space). It's like landlording but with even less responsibilities!

Poorly disguised cell towers stand out way more than regular ones imo, so saying it's so the commies can't blow up your good christian 4G towers makes more sense than reality. The ones on the east coast dressed up as conifers looming over almost entirely deciduous forests at twice the height of the canopy are extra egregious. I assume this phenomenon is some deep lizard part of my brain recognizing them as predators out to ambush me.

here's a fun thing I learned. my neighborhood, which is filled with $500,000+ single family homes counts as a "low income area" for the purpose of applying for grants because there's a condo/apartment complex in the census tract which drags down the average income
