Tone excels at long range, fires somewhat slow and is dependant on accuracy but for every three hits it gets a missile barrage. Also free "hits" with the sonar ability, which makes the missiles happen even faster. The salvo core spams missiles too.

Monarch is cool but I wish we had a lightning themed Titan with the arc cannon, it was so satisfying to splat pilots with. And I want the stupid TF1 quad rocket with dash core back, infinite dashes while spamming rockets and melees was such a hoot. I'd always get super overconfident end up clotheslined by an execution animation. Or am I making that up? Did TF1 have executions? I'm not crazy am I

This game rules. I have a lot to learn though, my experience 50% of the time so far: "Let me sneakily shoot this pilot/titan from this covert location" Killcam: * zooming in on a glowing red idiot jumping around in the middle of a field* In my first few matches my team and I kicked rear end and I was worried the skilled players had moved elsewhere. But I've noticed since level 10 I am now getting my rear end handed to me by invisible spidermen. Is there any countermeasure to these spidermen other than also being spiderman?

Sadly the skill ceiling in this game is pretty loving high, this makes it harder for new players like yourself to get into it when so many of those Spider-men have been playing for a long time and fly about the maps raining death upon you. It's an easy game to get into, but definitely very hard to play at a high level. Definitely watch more videos and make use of the (still in beta  )private match option to learn maps and practice your grappling hook/bunny hop skills so you can traverse the maps at speed.

I use it with the ability cooldown perk to spam it as much as possible and that does a lot to help me get my bearings. It's kind of a crutch obviously but this game really takes a lot of getting used to compared to more traditional FPSes so don't be afraid to take advantage of it while you're getting the hang of the rest of the game.

It happens every sale. People want Titanfall 2 for $7.50 but not $30. I can see Titanfall 3 doing really well now that Apex Legends made the universe relevant. Have an in-game ad inside Apex Legends for Titanfall 3 and say that it's related to Apex and that'll sell some copies.

Origin, it was a bit cheaper than steam. Hopefully it’s all the same servers. I did find it on some reselling site for $7 but the site was a little sketchy.

The downside to this coming out in 2016 is that everyone seems to have been playing for the last five years. I’m dying a LOT, oof. I’m sure I’ll get better with practice. Also seems like people basically only play attrition, which I don’t really mind. Is there any point to actually focusing on grunts and trying to kill as many as possible? I assumed that doing that gets you some titan progress but looking at scores it seems like a lot of people don’t bother

I will say that playing in the last hour or so has been an insane difference compared to playing at like 3am last night. I don't know if that's because there's a ton of people just now starting to play or because it's earlier in the day, but man. Playing with people that are ALSO new is so much more enjoyable, i'm actually starting to top frag in matches which is great also i've been experimenting with titans and tone is very cool. speaking of titans, i assume i probably get more mileage out of piloting it myself, but is there any reason to just drop it and forget about it? i know i can leave it at a location or have it follow me, what's my best option?
