This is a bit of a weird question but something I’ve been curious about for a while. Is Akki his given name and he uses the Japanese name ordering of surname-given name, or is it is his surname and he uses the western name ordering? Or is Baliyan like a descriptor? I don’t know much about Indian naming conventions and cursory google searches just told me that both baliyan and akki can be used as both surname and given name.
