I got excited about finally getting to try this game out on the free weekend, and found out I apparently bought it in a half drunk haze a while back and forgot  At least there'll be plenty of other newbies

I bought the game on Steam for like $5 when it first came out without any expectations and it ended up having one of the best single-player campaigns I've played in years.

And Reapers are actually a really efficient way to get more score and Meter as well, if you can kill them quickly and don’t get killed yourself. The downside is mostly if you are too distracted by mobs you might get ganked by a pilot. Of course if you kill the enemy NPCs fast enough there will be plenty of friendly NPCs on the map to distract the enemy. I highly recommend killing them.

Titanfall 2's multiplayer is very newbie-friendly. Not as much as the original with the autopistol, but anyone can contribute to the team score simply by killing the AI enemies or going after objectives - or just harass enemy titans from long-range. You don't need to be good at PvP to make a difference.

Okay good because man for some reason it takes forever for multiplayer FPS to click with me  Unless I'm playing support for some reason, I was never below second place in Bad Company 2 when I played engineer

Playing it PC for the first time after a couple of hundred hours on PS4 online, it feels weird to be worse on a keyboard and mouse than on a controller. Still just as loving rad as ever though. Being able to hit people long-range with Legion's short-range gun is hilarious. One question though: anyone else have the issue where your tactical button randomly stops working?

Somehow this free weekend is what convinced my friends to play after I’ve been bugging them about it for like five years now. Saw 20k on last night. Games felt about the same as they usually do for me in terms of skill spread, except I’m trying to explain how to play to someone. instantly getting tossed into a game when you queue feels pretty good.

I've swore this free weekend to branch out from Hemlock and Tone and use other stuff and gently caress Scorch is fun if you can the enemy titan trapped at close-range.

Gravity star + softball is still pretty fun when I’m not blowing myself the gently caress up I stopped playing around the time monarch got added and I’m intimidated to try and play them because I got no clue how they work

Northstar, a Stryder with a long range primary weapon, lots of dashes and one of the best pilot munchers in the game the cluster rocket, is very solid Northstar, anything to do with flight, is poorly executed

With TTK being very fast Apex veterans will be alarmed by just how efficient the Mozi is The EVA8 + Stim is where the real tears are at though. Alarmingly this is a gun Apex has ruined for me because in Apex the range of that gun is huuuge to the point you can plink with it. In TF|2 you need to use it like a videogame shotgun again
