I've kinda stuck by "don't tell coworkers poo poo that might get you fired unless you don't care that you got fired for saying it" kinda policy with exceptions only made for coworkers who've earned my trust in Halo 1v1 Hang Em High snipers only.

I might be one of the shitheads the website is making fun of, but I think it's always best to send a "Have a second?" note before I drop the question in case they're broadcasting. (And while Teams lets you share individual windows now, there's no guarantee the user isn't doing it live and sharing their whole loving desktop.) "Hey Mike those reports are three days overdue now, think you can get them to my by COB?" is a lot better without an audience.

I had to deal with that poo poo for the last 6 months with craigslist people emailing poo poo to me like... "I am interested in your bike. (phone number)" "Is the bike still for sale" and other incredible poo poo things. On the other hand i sold it today.

My husband and I went out to eat tonight for the second time since getting vaccinated. We had a gap in time between house hunting. With it being graduation season I saw a freshly minted 2Lt with his family and grandparents come to the restaurant. Those WWII dress uniforms look good. Not better than Service Dress Blues but good looking

The army class As are nicer that the dress blues. Mostly because for some reason I find the blue pants plus black jacket combination god awful for a formal dress. The class As were a decent color green and matched.

My favorite benefit from my corporate overlords moving from Skype to Teams is that meeting owners can now generate reports of meeting attendance BY ATTENDANT AND OVERALL TIME OF ATTENDANCE. Doesn't really change a lot regarding participants you can exert direct influence on (because if those folks regularly don't attend, you're a lovely team leader / organizer), but boy howdy, has it ever had a great impact on those folks outside my disciplinary "jurisdiction" that have now noticed their attendance in weekly meetings can now be summarized in a report at the click of a button by me. Oh, the quality engineer/project purchaser of a different department that is a mandatory participant in my weekly meeting has attended said meetings for a grand total of 23 minutes since January? It'd be a drat shame if I could visualize that with no effort whatsoever the next time the higher-ups ask me why poo poo's going sideways with a supplier.
