Apparently I had accidentally offered to take the opposite side of the Askren bet i.e. effectually bet on Jake Paul to win. what was the actual bet? can you post a screenshot?

Betfair allows you to both back and lay either side of the bet on the same screen, it sounds like Mursupitsku was intending to back Askren and ended up laying him instead (was the box red instead of blue when you selected the odds?) eg (first thing i found on the front page)

There was always the option of betting on offshore grey market sportsbooks too but that gets sketchy sometimes.

I took great advantage of FanDuel's parlay insurance on the Euros. 6 parlays, won 2, and got the insurance payout on all the rest. (Still waiting for the rebate on the last one. Might try one more.) Made about $250. (Insurance only refunds up to $25 on each bet, so I only bet that much.)
