And the mercy seat is awaiting,
And I think my head is burning,
And in a way I'm yearning,
To be done with all this measuring of proof.
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth,
And anyway I told the truth,
And I'm not afraid to die.

Not only does it not include the easy choice of Manami Toyota - it includes no joshi wrestlers at all.

The Crush Gals existed just off the top of my head and thats not getting into Aja Kong or Dump Matsumoto or Megumi Kudo...

Cass allegedly so obnoxiously stanned Trump backstage that it made the sheets, he allegedly had to be separated from Carmella backstage after harassing her post breakup-possibly physically, and he allegedly threatened to do a shooting at a wrestling show. I hope the dude is OK and it's kind of Janela and CO to be so forgiving, but I definitely wouldn't want him dating my female family members in the near term future.

That's not exactly the analysis they went with in the aforementioned article though.

Moolah was definitely a huge influence on women's wrestling, just a really bad one

As I alluded to that's not the main problem here, so I guess I might as well post the whole thing.

https://whatculture.com/wwe/10-most-influential-people-in-womens-wrestling-history?page=2

quote:

We start the countdown with a Hall of Fame performer and one of the greatest women's champions of all time, The Fabulous Moolah. A valet-turned-wrestler, she fought for the respect of her peers at a time throughout the second-half of the 1900s in which women were looked at very much like a sideshow attraction. She overcame all perceptions of her and earned the reputation of one of the sport's toughest workers, regardless of gender. In the process, she captured the women's championship and proceeded to hold the title for 28 years. The strength of competition was nowhere what it would be years later, in what many consider the golden age of women's wrestling, but he managed to remain relevant across three decades and that is hard to do in any situation. Moolah was the first huge successful women's wrestler. Sure, there were others, such as Mildred Burke and the great Mae Young, but it was Moolah and her eventual appearances for Vince McMahon's WWE that made her the first great champion of women's wrestling as a legitimate aspect of the sport

Then again the article is apparently from 2015, so I'm not completely sure if the vast amount of crimes Moolah committed over the years was common knowledge by that point or not, but even if it wasn't this hasn't aged very well.

This is still easily the craziest (in the sense of obviously braindamaged) fan I have ever seen on any ROH show I've ever watched. These 12 seconds don't really do this any justice, the guy went like almost a minute and yet Punk never really reacted to him.

pretty sure we were both aware of what the problem was and were just commenting on it in a way that kept the original title of the article of "influential" and made it about her bad points, as a joke (but a joke that is true)
