The M3 Stuart was a light tank equipped with a 37mm gun. This was nicknamed "the squirrel rifle" as it fired the 2lb shell, which was ok against German Mark IIIs and Italian tanks but ineffective against heavier tanks or fortifications. Although it worked great against parked aircraft.

Few bitcoin projects illustrate the cryptocurrency’s enormous climate impact better than the Greenidge power plant in upstate New York. The once-abandoned power plant was bought by private equity firm Atlas Holdings and retasked. A significant portion of Greenidge's electricity no longer powers nearby homes or businesses; rather, the plant's smokestacks are increasingly pouring pollutants into the atmosphere in the service of mining bitcoin.

Now, Greenidge is on the verge of ramping up its bitcoin ambitions. By the end of this year, it plans to have 18,000 specialized machines mining bitcoin, and with the recent approval of its data center expansion plans, it will add 10,500 more. When the project is complete, the miners will be using 79 percent of the power plant’s capacity, or 85 MW.

Maybe they are not running high pressure steam generators like a normal power plant would, but yeah that's pathetic output for what would normally be 500MW coal plant.

The semantics seem off. Rich friend tried calling for her kids jabs at the mention of this article and she's getting nothing back. I think Authorize in this sense applies to children under the care of the state. The numbers kinda line up with a smattering of some juvinal detention centers, baby cages, and foster programs.

Authorize only has one definition in this context. It’s the same authorization given before, just applied to a different age group.

There is going to be a delay in FDA authorization to execution at the local level.

To speculate that it’s only for wards of the state based on that is a bit much. It hasn’t even been 12 hours yet.

Like mentioned before, it's just a modified EUA that sets the bar at 12, instead of 16:

https://www.fda.gov/news-events/pre...e-emergency-use

It just takes a few days for it to get to the local level and updated in all the appointment databases.

I wish I had been wrong about the susceptibility of children to the virus and that I had been an rear end in a top hat for pushing the issue.

People arguing against me months ago weren’t assholes. They were in denial. It’s a coping mechanism in a horrible tragedy. There was incivility, but I shared in that myself.
