i posted in support of the idea in QCS because i like new ideas and experimenting with the forums. it's very easy not to engage with the stuff i don't want to engage in, but it obviously does wear down on someone. the only part of the thread i was upset about was GBS dipshits that haven't ever looked in here talking poo poo about karmicknight cause he's done a really good job and should be pat on the back and perhaps kissed on the cheek.

I'm not the one you have to convince, this is just how it looks to me. It could be OP (or others) actually did the things I posted at some point and none of it worked out, but nobody linked examples of that so how would I know. That's what I mean by hurting the case, just seems like it could easily have been stronger, in the case that OP is right isn't that kind of a shame? I'm also just saying in general you should report bad posts when you see bad posts, everyone has that button now.

I don't usually know which users or threads are being talked about when this stuff comes up because not that many examples are usually cited directly, but I thought one of the core issues was that no rules were actually being broken so reporting posts isn't really worth it? Like, people just want to post about Chris Jericho without being told that Chris Jericho donated to Trump or whatever every time, right? It seems reasonable to me. It's exhausting having to defend the poo poo you like and there's also a plague on so everyone Wang Chung tonight.

I thought the idea of a relaxed jokey PSP seemed cool but the way the thread almost instantly devolved into singling out posting enemies, the terrors of woke-scolds, and ranting about CSPAM (for some reason) left a really bad taste in my mouth :/

I think there's very mixed messages being sent. Because on one hand there's certainly times when posters can go too far or might be acting in bad faith. Or that a case has been made and you're just hammering it home. But there's also plenty of people who have perfectly valid feelings on racism or abuse or other serious issues, even if others might not feel as strongly or might be able to compartmentalize it better. And they should feel comfortable to voice that. And complaining that you can't just make fun of them or tell them to stfu is something else entirely.

If I'm not mistaken there was a CSPAM Wrestling thread and I remember it being miserable to read, and imp zone style topics/poster are similarly miserable for me to read. I don't know if we need a whole Imp Zone to sunder PSP in half, I've just been using the ignore function to get the kind of experience that I want out of PSP.

ok seriously where is the "cut wrestlehut in half" thing coming from? the vast majority for the imp zone are saying they will post in both. i will as well, because i enjoy serious discussion! just not all the time. and some of the people who also enjoy serious discussion, perhaps more than me, are good people i don't want to ignore even if I mumble "oh my god seriously" around the pen hanging out of my mouth occasionally i just want a wrestleyob with gary strydom in a top hat as the background. where butt the shitman fart jokes rain from the sky edit: i am aware that there would be people who posted in one or the other but i predict it is less than some people think. for me it's just an extra tab open.

brut handles most the mma stuff i think right? i remember people posting in the the qcs thread that most of them roll with the punches and just post so being reminded that most fighters are rear end in a top hat pieces of poo poo doesnt bother them or take away most the joy of the thing they're watching. but also they're watching a thing where they're cheering for some one getting their poo poo beat so maybe that's the difference idk. also sa has always had general forum "rules" of "is this post low content by either offering nothing to the conversation, being off topic, or just not funny because you can report it and get probated for it"
